IIT Bombay-ST (Spoken Tutorial) MOOCs/IT Skills Training

 

This is Sudeha Shirke, Training Manager, Gujarat for Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay. This is to inform you of a successful and very necessary IT/Software/E-Tutor courses program being offered by none less than IIT Bombay_ST (Spoken Tutorial Project). In this pandemic time the focus is shifted to online learning, this is where we come in with our self learning audio video tutorials for various job oriented skill courses along with courses already present in the lab part of the syllabus. Through Spoken Tutorial faculty will find the ease to complete the lab hours part with students studying at home. Please find below the program details.

 

Introduction

This is a Govt. of India project, powered by National Mission on Education through ICT, MOE). It offers audio-video (Spoken), training tutorials on various Software to students. This is a successful and very necessary IT/Software/E-Tutor course MOOCs program being offered by none less than IIT Bombay_ST (Spoken Tutorial project website link). The learning is managed well in the remote or distance manner and faculties and students learn on their own at home.

This training is strongly recommended by the Department of Technical Education, Gujarat Technological university and many more. (Click here)

· Students can learn on their own through an innovative audio video e-tutor in English, Hindi, Gujarati or other regional languages.

· No expert needed, minimum faculty involvement

· Students trained on a wide range of courses like LibreOffice (Office automation software), Animation packages, Blender, Multimedia, Programming languages C, C++/Java, Python, Drupal etc. to become skilled and improve their academic and job prospects. Workshop on “Designing and Modelling of IoT, AI & ML Systems” from 1st August to 5th August, 2022

 All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Arm Education, STMicroelectronics, with support from Microsoft and NIELIT Calicut are conducting a workshop on “Designing and Modelling of IoT, AI & ML Systems” from 1st August to 5th August, 2022.

In this 5-day workshop, faculty members and nominated students learn about IoT and ML technologies, starting from the fundamentals up to the latest innovations including demonstrations of real-life use cases. After the workshop, faculty members and up to 4 nominated students, who have participated in this workshop, are eligible to enroll in the “The Inventors Challenge” as a team where they can submit ideas on creating the IoT products of the future. The short-listed teams will receive an STM32 board for creating the prototype.

If you are from the electronics, electrical, communication, instrumentation engineering, computer science or information technology community, don’t miss out on this opportunity to elevate your skills to the next level. Faculty members can use the knowledge gained on IoT, AI and ML to build a curriculum and have a chance to collaborate with students on a real-life project. While students will be able to use this knowledge in their journey of innovation. 

Please note, Faculty members and nominated students must attend all five days in order to receive a digital participation certificate.
