(2)Draw the following parts of three phase synchronous machine in SHEETS

Write the following solved examples in file page with data sheet

(A)Design problem-1

Design a 2.2KW,400V,3-ɸ,50Hz,1500rpm squirrel cage induction motor. The machine is to be started with star-delta starter, the efficiency & power factor are 0.8 & 0.825 respectively. Assume cheap design.

(B)Design problem-1

Design a water wheel generator with the following specifications:

KVA=3000,  Phase=3,  Voltage=6600V,  Frequency=50Hz,  Connection=star,  RPM=187.5,  P.F.=0.8lag

(C) Draw the circle diagram for 5HP,200V,50Hz, 3-ɸ,4-pole ,star connected induction motor from the following data:

O.C. Test	200V	5A	350W
S.C. Test	100V	26A	1700W

Instruction to students:

- All students (from 3rd to 6th semester) having the subject of Design Engineering need to register themselves on the DE portal at http://www.de.gtu.ac.in.

- Guidelines, circular, latest news related to DE will be available on portal.

- Study material, canvases and other formats would be also available on this portal for DE subject.
