Change in Time-Table for Even Semester AY 2019-20

It is requested to all students of Electrical Engineering Department that they have to follow the time-table which is uploaded on 6th December, 2019 from today onwards. The only change in that time-table is to consider Prof. D. R. Parmar (DRP) in place of Prof. A. A. Patel (AAP).

Eligibility Criteria - 2020 Batch

·         2020 BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech degree students belonging to / EEE / EIE / E&E /  Electrical 

·         Consistent academic record of minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (all subjects taken into consideration) calculated as below
o    Aggregate% = sum of all subjects’ marks scored / total no. of subjects (as of last semester result declared)

·         No standing arrears in current education

·         Maximum 2 years gap in education

·         At the time of joining, all recruits will need to have a minimum 60% aggregate (all subjects taken into consideration) in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears

·         Any student who has applied and is waiting for re-evaluation would be considered only with the initial results declared

·         Appropriate CGPA to % will be considered as per University norms

·         Strong written and communication skills

·         Open only to Indian nationals

·         Suitable candidates must be flexible to relocate to anywhere in India or work in any shift / domain as this will be determined based on business demand
Student Information

·         Students must carry the following for the recruitment Process – University ID card, 2 Recent PP size photographs (both ears visible in light background), Resume (max of 2 pages), all academic mark sheets & certificates (original & 1 Photocopy) for verification

·         Students must carry 1 Photocopy of their PAN Card, Aadhaar card and Passport (front & back page)

·         Colleges need to authenticate the % of the candidates, via the college administration department records prior to the registering them for recruitment process

·         Please ensure that only those students who meet our criteria appear for the Cognizant Placement process

It is informed you that the Mentor- student meeting is arranged on Friday.  so you are invited to meet and share your details with your mentor. Also, submit your details to your Mentor So he/she can help you at every level.

Notice --- Mentor -student group allotment for help the student individual level


Dear students our department has been following  Mentor- student system for a long time to help each student and solve his/her problem.  

Now we are following NBA Criteria, so This system is reformed. Here Guidelines are given to students for the mentoring system to help the individual level.

Attentively read this
1) Student and their Counselor/mentor list will be displayed in departmental notice board/social media etc.
2) A student assigned to a particular departmental Counselor/mentor will not change (as far as possible) until he/she passes.

3) Students have to compulsorily meet their assigned Counselor/mentor once a week between 12.30 to 1.00 pm. (on the day and time declared by the Head of the department). If a student does not meet the Counselor/mentor on a regular basis, in that case, the Counselor/mentor will call his/her parents and inform about the irregularity of the student.

4) The student will share/discuss any difficulty he/she faces in all aspects of life, for example, academic difficulties, financial and psychological support, help in resolving problems related to scholarship, university affairs, hostel affairs, guidance for a future carrier, etc. Students will be free to discuss all these aspects with their assigned Counselor/mentor so that he/she can get proper support for the same.

5) Students have to submit personal, academic and non-academic, achievements, extracurricular details, etc. in the format provided by his/her Counselor/mentor. He will also submit copies of all the mark sheets, achievement certificates, co-curricular and extracurricular activity participation certificates, etc. to the mentor on a regular basis.

Registration for industrial visit in January 2020(6TH/8TH sem only)




All the interested students are informed to get register for the industrial visit/training at following companies.

1. Softcon Pvt.Ltd on 20/01/2020 at Vadodara.
2. Expel Prosys  on 27/01/2020 at Savli,Vadodara.

Registration for TCS (Tata Affirmative Action Program) Training (Only for 4th sem)


Dear Students,

All the interested and eligible students of 4th sem can register for TCS(Tata Affirmative Action Program) Training on or before 15 Jan 2020.

Eligibility:

(1) Only one backlog till sem-2 is allowed for regular students. For diploma students CPI >=6.0 in diploma.
(2) CPI >=6.0 will be preferred for regular(SEM 1& 2)  and D2D students both.
(3) SC/ST with eligibility criteria 1 to 2 will be given preference.
